FAMILY or facility? If you do not need 24 hour nursing care, you do not need a nursing home! Come to Rimrock Estates Adult Family Home and live with a family rather than in a facility! Our family home set on 10 wooded acres above the Little Spokane River, 15 min north of Spokane Washington, provides spectacular year-round views. Our Care is as good as the view! Our home has specialty training in Dementia and Mental Health. We have experience with ostomy care, Tube feedings, care after Hip surgery, MS, quadrapelegic, and personal care, oral suctioning, oxygen therapy, Physical Therapy exercises, glucose monitoring, nebulizers, hearing impaired, blind, Hospice, comfort care, etc. We strive to find the resources in knowledge, equipment, and home health to take care of your changing medical needs so that you can stay here where we hope you will make your home. Our caregivers are like family. This is where you come to live with family, not a facility. If you like to join in family times, and talk, or if you like the privacy of your bedroom. If you like to sing along to piano or watch old movies til late at night, or work at puzzles, or help with the garden, or plan the flower beds, or the evening meals, or try a new recipe. Perhaps you want the local paper read to you, or would like to sleep in til 10 each morning and have breakfast in bed and dinner at three. We cater to your wants. We welcome your family and friends. We introduce you to our family and friends. Our 7 yr old will tell you about her day at school and our 16 year old will tell you about her latest golf game, but if you don't care to be bothered, the home is large enough, they can give you your space. We love the service we do. Our family home consists of Husband and wife of 30+ years and the two youngest of 7 children. The others (4 married) come to visit along with one grandbaby. We employ quality caregivers to help during the day. There is always at least one caregiver in the home and there will be no more than 6 residents. The caregiver/resident ratio averages 3/5 but is never less than 1/6. We enjoy catering to our residents. Did we say we love the line of work we are in? It is very fullfilling to be doing something you love that makes a difference! Debbie Terry
