    Red Oak has a Washington state boarding home license. All staff receives orientation to the unique style of care provided at Red Oak, in addition to attaining Certificates in Fundamentals of Care giving, Mental Health, and Dementia, Basic First Aide, HIV and required monthly continuing education. Seminars are held monthly on topics ranging from health promotion to cultural awareness. Self learning modules are required monthly on Food safety, care issues or seasonal activities.
