    Staff certifications and training:
    All caregiving staff is required to be certified in First Aid and CPR. We require all staff to maintain a current Food Handlers permit which is issues after completing a class through the Walla Walla County Health Department. All staff is required to attend and pass Fundamentals of Caregiving which is a forty hour training. We also require Dementia and Mental Health training, each of which take three hours. Our in-house orientation covers many different things and generally takes two hours. We offer our staff several opportunities per month for continuing education inluding seminars presented by the Inland NW Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

    Eagle Springs Memory Care Community is dedicated to promoting the social, psychological, spiritual, and physical well being of all residents. We believe in the dignity of each individual, recognizing that every person has specific needs and rights, and that these rights must be respected. This respect is reflected in the efforts of this community to assist residents that have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other related dementias. Our intent is to maximize capabilities and allow residents to function as independently as they are, while providing assistance as needed.

    Each Monday we offer in-house church service. Three times per week we have ice cream socials followed by BINGO. On the third Wednesday of each month we hold support group meetings for family and friends.
