    We provide ongoing care to residents throughout the changes that Alzheimer's disease and dementia present. A multidisciplinary team approach and gentle care approach is used in order to address the resident's needs from every aspect. Every attempt to provide the most therapeutic environment and interventions, if needed, is used before a resident would be discharged due to their medical or behavioral needs.
    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    We have a 31 bed secure dementia unit for residents who are at risk of wandering or behaviors associated with dementia. Memory care activities are planned for the abilities of each resident and implemented by wonderful resident life services coordinators. Many residents with Alzheimer's and dementia are also able to live in our general areas with the same attentive care provided for their activities, in groups and individually.
