    We are located minutes from Lake Shore Drive on the north side of Chicago and have been providing superior care for older adults for over 100 years. We are a non-profit, non-denominational facility in a warm homelike setting. The Methodist Home is known in the community for excellence in nursing care as demonstrated in our most recent survey in 2007, conducted by the Illinois Department of Public Health, which was violation free. We specialize in the following: 1. Dementia and Alzheimer’s care, 2. Rehabilitation and Sub-Acute Care, and 3. Skilled nursing and long term care.

    We accept all payor sources including Private Pay, Private Insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. We serve the over 60 population and require medical paperwork from a physician.
