Through Brookdale’s signature Personalized Assisted Living we customize our care offerings for the individual. This allows each resident the freedom and opportunity to make choices that will ease their lifestyle transitions. Our residents enjoy life with the support they need, coupled with the appropriate accommodations as their needs change. We also offer special housing and care options for those who require assistance with the activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing and dispensing of medications. Our community offers graduated levels of care based upon the individual need of residents, as determined by our continual assessment process.     Staff certifications and training:
    All staff is required to be certified by the Kansas Dept. on Aging. Licensed or registered must be in good standing Kansas State Board of Nursing. Brookdale core training equips new employees with the knowledge and skills they need to properly care for our residents. Depending upon the varying needs of our residents and staff, additional training is provided through ongoing in-services and staff meetings.

The resident or responsible party is habitually disruptive, creates unsafe conditions, is physically or verbally abusive to other residents or otherwise endangers the safety, health or welfare of anyone in the community.

    Brookdale believes strongly in the value of seniors remaining active in their community. A strong volunteer program in our residence offers residents the opportunity to interact with individuals from the community-at-large and facilitates opportunities for community volunteers to develop relationships with seniors. Brookdale volunteer program is called Hands and Hearts.
