Ivy Manor Normandy and Ivy Manor Normandy 2 are assisted living homes licensed for 8 residents each in a beautiful wooded Ellicott City neighborhood. We have been in business 12 years with an average length of employment of 7 years per employee. Chris O’Brien (owner) is a registered physical therapist with 30 years home health experience. Our focus is on loving, individualized care for our residents. Caregivers have an average of 7 years working experience at Ivy Manor Normandy. We have a 4:1 caregiver to resident ratio. We believe in "aging in place" allowing all to spend their final days in our home. This gives our folks a sense of relief that they will not be discharged to a nursing home as they become needier. We provide levels 1, 2, and 3 care. We have beautiful gardens for the residents to tend. We encourage all to contribute to weekly menu planning and ideas regarding activities. Music, movies, games, current events, crafts and puzzles are just a few of our activities. We work as a team with the resident, family, and physician to ensure the physical, psychological, and emotional well being of our patients.
    All genders welcome
