Cedar Creek Associates operates 5 small homes in Montgomery County geared toward those with memory loss. We group people based on their cognitive and care needs so that some of our homes are for early stage, some for mid and some for quite progressed. We train our staff specifically on dementia related care and have very high staffing ratios. Good dementia care goes way beyond fancy chandeliers and really requires an understanding and loving presence from our staff. We pride ourselves on retaining wonderful staff--many who have been with us for more than 7 years. The four partners that run Cedar Creek are involved and accessible--we are not bureaucratic and always open to ideas and concerns from our families. Our homes are a true partnership with our families and our staff.
