St. Anne's Mead was founded by the Episcopal Diosese of Michigan over forty years ago. We offer a continuum of care that includes four levels of assisted living, a nursing care unit, short term (respite) stays and end of life (hospice) care to meet the ever changing needs of the seniors we serve. Our single story design makes St. Anne's Mead easy and convenient for our residents to navigate and our Life Enrichment, Wellness, and Pastoral Care Programs set us apart from other Assisted Living Communities and Nursing Homes. Our Life Enrichment Program was developed to meet the needs of our residents in the assisted living and nursing home who have mild, moderate, and severe memory impairment. The program includes our Friendship Lounge, Therapeutic Small Groups and Soft Sensory activities designed to give residents a feeling of purpose, peace and pleasure. Our wellness program enhances the quality of life for our residents by helping to keep them as healthy and independent as possible. It is designed to address the physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and intellectual needs of our residents. Another distinguishing features of St. Anne's Mead is our Pastoral Care Program. Our resident Chaplain is an Episcopal Priest and reflects our heritage as a ministry of local Episcopal churches. In addition to regular celebrations of communion, the Chaplain works with ministers of other denominations and volunteers to provide many worship activities to support and enhance the spiritual well being of all of our residents. Our convenient location is close to shopping and allows for easy access to several major expressways.
