    Staff certifications and training:
    Staff at The Homestead Place Murdock are trained by the Registered Nurse, Program Director/LPN, Site Coordinator, and by other trained direct care staff. Staff receive at least 24 hours of on the job training before working without support. Each year, staff receive a minimum of 12 hours continuing education. Training is specific to client needs and includes health and safety, dietary, oral hygiene, and dementia awareness.
