Our facility primarily services the elderly population. We enjoy providing them with a home-like atmosphere and we strongly encourage family participation. We transport residents to and from their doctor's appointments. We also do all laundry in-house. We contract with a beautician who comes in twice monthly to provide special hair care for both ladies and gentlemen. We provide three meals and three snacks per day according to physician's orders. We love to decorate our facility according to holidays. Our residents enjoy this as well and assist us in doing this. We are in a quiet neighborhood. We do activities when we have residents willing to participate.

Diminished abilities or stage of disease that would result in a transfer or discharge:
As far as medical disabilities, we greatly encourage our residents and their families to allow them to age in place. This allows them to continue to live in our home with the assistance of hospice care. If, indeed, they need a higher level of care, we also will assist them in securing this at another facility. When behaviors begin to surface in which the resident is harming him/herself or others, we look at trying to locate a facility which offers a more structured environment for this resident.
