    Morning Star is a family run business. We offer home cooked meals and a staff the are for the residents. We grow our own garden in the summer and enjoy the type of foods that we grew up with. Also, the unit is licensed by the state to be a secured unit for residents with Alzheimer's and related diseases. We are small but we offer that extra care that can not be given in a large facility.

    Staff certifications and training:
    Upon hire each employee must have 6 hours of CEU classes related to Alzheimer's and within 6 month most have 20 CEU's of Alzheimer's. Every year each employee must receive 6 CEU's to continue employment.

    The entire facility is dedicated to the care of Alzheimer's and Dementia sufferers.

    Stage 1: no impairment
    Stage 2: very mild decline
    Stage 3: mild decline
    Stage 4: moderate decline
    Stage 5: moderate, mid-stage
    Stage 6: moderately severe
    Stage 7: severe, late-stage
