We are family owned and operated. We have been in business for 20 years and have 2 facilities. One is a smaller 20-bed facility that is an older building but also very homey. The other is a larger 64-bed facility that was built in 1995. We offer special diets planned by a licensed dietician and overseen by owners. We are on a dead end residential street in downtown Morganton N.C. We are on a 30 acre tract of land with a beautiful view of the North Carolina Mountains. We offer 24 hour awake and on duty staff, as well as owners who are on call 24 hours per day, seven days per week. We transport all residents to local doctors’ appointments. We also accompany residents to emergency room visits; we never send them alone. One of our administrators is also a registered nurse. We can care for almost all levels of care; we have residents who do almost everything for themselves and residents who are total care. We have an onsite beauty shop and a licensed beautician who comes to the facility weekly for all kinds of beauty and barber services. We also offer activities planned by the owners and an activities aide who is on staff. We have exercise, games, crafts, parties, visiting singers, dancers, and we also have a chapel where church services are held. We have a day room for activities such as games, movies, chat time, and exercise. We also have a private dining room for small family visits or parties. We have 2 visiting rooms in addition to these. We also have a courtyard that is surrounded by the facility where residents can be outside but not wander off.
