    Highlights
Whispering Pines assisted living is a small 17 bed, 15 unit facility that is attached to the Plainview Manor—a skilled facility. Being a smaller facility, we are able to accommodate most of the residents’ personal needs. Each one of our rooms is designed with handicap accessibility and walk/wheel in shower. Whispering Pines staff assist with weekly showers and whirlpool per resident’s request. We are staffed with 24 hour care and provide a variety of activities according to the resident’s interest. We schedule monthly or bi-monthly shopping trips to nearby discount and department stores. We also invite residents to monthly or bi-monthly eating out trips to nearby restaurants of the resident’s choice. We are located within 45 minutes to 1 hour of the South Dakota boarder which allows site-seeing of the Missouri River, Boating Landmark Bridges and also Ash Falls near Royal, NE. Whispering Pines is located in the Clown Capital of the World and residents able to tour its amazing museum located three blocks away. Our assisted living is designed to have three levels of care and is reviewed quarterly for proper placement. If and when time of need arises, we are able to accommodate a move to nursing home care by adjusting them to the attached Plainview Manor. We are a Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay accepting nursing home that is city-owned. Being a smaller facility, we are able to perform loving, caring one on one care.
