Our Executive Director consistently receives accolades from satisfied families about the exceptional quality of our caring staff. Residents write letters expressing their satisfaction with our staff and quality of activities offered. One reason is the variety: from current events and trips, to bluegrass & classical music performances, we offer a wide variety of programs to keep residents spirits high. One resident recently wrote a poem to our Executive Director, expressing her joy with the flowers outside Buckingham, and 'activities galore'. Onsite Physical Therapy ensures residents are monitored and provided with state of the art medical equipment and care, should the need for PT arise. Also, the option to move in on a 'try it out' first basis, means one can stay in a furnished suite before making the move. Our personal care staff is friendly and genuinely caring towards our residents. We make a special effort to make new residents feel at home and invite families to enjoy a private lunch with our Ambassador residents; one of the many ways we go the extra mile to make the transition easier and more pleasant for both resident and families of Buckingham Place. Spacious furnished and unfurnished apartments are available, daily housekeeping, personal laundry, three home cooked meals and all utilities, including cable are included in a monthly fee. A blend of privacy and socialization is what residents appreciate and enjoy most about living at Buckingham. And of course the professionalism exuded by our caring staff and the general upbeat atmosphere, starts at the top, and we thank Dean Vlecides, our Executive Director for setting the tone which continues each day.
