The Arbors of Del Rey is the only free standing facility for Alzheimer's and Dementia. We have the first memory garden based on research for what is appealing to Alzheimer's residents and their needs. We have assessments for activities that allow them to use their strengths for as long as they have them. Our caregiver ratio to residents is 6 residents to one caregiver. We have a dedicated bath aid that sees to it that our residents have their baths on time. We have an activity aid that plays music to the residents at least 4 times a week. We play music during the meals to promote better intake of food and we play their music to give them a life line into their memories. Our facility looks like a home.
