    Minford Retirement Center/Elbrooke Pavilion is a family owned & operated assisted living facility situated in a country setting. Our desire is to give seniors the freedom to live as independently as possible with the ability to recieve more care as needed in a home-like/family environment. Elbrooke Pavilion offers a private room with a kitchenette and private bathroom. We are licensed to provide care up to the skilled level of care, however, through home health certain skilled levels of care can be treated in our facility. Minford Retirement Center / Elbrooke Pavilion was classified as one of the top ranking assisted living facilities in the state of Ohio in the 2007 Resident Satisfaction Survey conducted by the Ohio Department of Aging.

    Chapel services offered twice a week - 12 local churches provide a month of services. Exercises daily at 11:00 am. Games/Crafts daily at 2:00 pm. Wednesday lunch outing - transportation provided by facility. Birthdays celebrated the last Wednesday of the month. Various groups play piano, guitar & sing throughout the month. Book readings by the Portsmouth Library monthly from September through May
