We are close to the airport, downtown, and wonderful medical facilities. We are located across the street from Covell Lake one direction, the beautiful Veterans Park another direction and the Canaries Baseball field another direction. We have eight beautiful courtyards on our campus that residents can help maintain. Wellness is an important part of the lifestyle at Dow Rummel. We are an active retirement community that has something to offer for everyone. We offer NeuroFit classes for people with Parkinson's and MS as part of 45-55 land and water classes in our wellness center each week. Our transportation services will get you to appointments as well as take you shopping. We have scheduled bus trips to the dinner theater, dining out, the casino, concerts and more. We are all about choices from various meal plans and different dining rooms to many different activities and events to choose from. You can enjoy playing cards with your neighbors, playing pool with one of the guys, meeting your friends for bingo, getting together for arts and crafts, meeting the men for the Men's Coffee Club, checking out the newest books in the library, making or repairing items in the wood shop, attending concerts and programs on campus two to three times a week and even playing water volleyball. Our Main Street shops offer everything from dining to shopping to banking to getting your hair or nails done in the beauty salon to taking care of medical needs in the clinic. We have professional nursing staff on the campus 24 hours a day 7 days a week and security staff at night to keep watch over the campus. Once you move to Dow Rummel your needs may change but your address never will!
