    Generally, residents must be able to transfer, ambulate, and evacuate the building with minimal assistance. Additionally, a resident cannot exhibit behavior that is potentially harmful to them self, another resident, or staff.
    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    Heritage Assisted Living has a specialized memory impaired unit where residents with Alzheimer's or dementia will receive personalized care that is unique to their individual situation. This unit is alarmed at all exits and offers residents their own activities and meals.
