Morning Pointe of Clinton is located in the Appalachian area of East Tennessee and only 45 minutes from The Great Smoky Mountains. Clinton is only 20 miles from Knoxville and considered part of the Greater Metropolitan Knoxville area. We are within 20 minutes from several major shopping areas, museums, and within walking distance to Norris Lake. We have tremendous community support and involvement especially with our area churches. We have 3 Bible Study classes a week, Sunday morning services and singings and programs throughout the month. We have musicians that come on a regular basis and play the piano and harpsichord. We have major events such as an annual Senior Prom, Family Christmas Party and other special events as well as daily exercise programs, crafts, social gatherings and entertainment. Our building is located off a major state highway and is between Oak Ridge and Clinton. It is set back from the highway and has many places for the residents to walk. The front porches are lined with rocking chairs and two courtyards offer beautiful flower gardens and comfortable outdoor furniture. The interior is bright and cheerful and the dining room offers restaurant style serving with white linen tablecloths and napkins. A formal dining room offers the privacy for families to dine with their loved ones. Nurses are on duty from 6:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. to administer all medication and caregivers are on duty 24 hours a day seven days a week. We have a secured unit that is appropriate for residents with dementia or other problems. A warm and caring staff provides security, assistance and compassion for each of our residents. You will feel the warmth of our community when you walk in the front door.
