    Emeritus at Quail Ridge is specifically designed to accommodate individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Around the clock care and attention is provided on an individualized basis. Our community is warm, inviting and home like. Common areas include a variety of comfortably furnished and attractively decorated living, dining and activity rooms. Resident rooms are spacious and comfortable and awaiting favorite pieces of furniture, and other memorabilia which are useful in promoting familiarity and stability in the environment. An enclosed courtyard and a secured outside walking area are beautifully landscaped with a fountain, manicured lawns and flowers in season. Each resident is encouraged to function at the highest level possible for as long as possible. Personalized assistance is provided in carrying out activities of daily living. Activities are structured to maintain resident's skills and abilities. Quality of life is enhanced by listening to music, singing, baking and doing crafts. Exercise programs and pet visits are an important part of the daily routine. Friends and family are encouraged to participate in activities and spend time reminiscing with their loved one. Specially trained staff are responsive to individual needs for independent activity and one-on-one interaction.

    IV interventions could be managed with short term skilled care outside of facility with resident returning after interventions; family decision for G-Tube or Peg placement for feeding needs; physical aggression that does not respond to interventions available at Emeritus at Quail Ridge, off-site temporary care and medical evaluations are an option with resident possibly returning if interventions are met successfully.
    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    We are a certified/dedicated Alzheimer's and dementia care community. Special day outings offered for special needs residents; activities based on level of abilities to ensure success in their activities.
