    The Philadelphia Protestant Home (PPH) is a fully accredited, not for profit Continuing Care Retirement Community dedicated to service, excellence and the highest standards of senior living. From our founding more than a century ago, it has grown to a bustling 12.5 acre campus with seven buildings. We offer independent living. Assisted living, 20 units secured Alzheimer/dementia living, and a full service state of the art nursing facility with short term rehabilitation. At PPH, age is viewed as a celebration or the human spirit. It is a place of peace, of celebration, of hope, of healing, of heritage. It is a place where older persons dwell in harmony.

    Alzheimer/ Dementia care is provided in both our specialized, secure unit (CHAPTERS) in our assisted living, and in our state of the art nursing facility (PATHWAYS) so we are able to effectively provide care to all levels. However we are not able to handle severe behavioral issues
    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    Chapter is a specialized Alzheimer’s, Dementia related unit that offers complete care in a secured environment. The staff has been trained to provide expert care to these residents. Care is offered in a residential setting which is architecturally designed to accommodate these needs.
