When the time comes and living on your own is not an option, Caring Hearts Adult Foster Care offers SAFETY, SECURITY and a NURTURING HOMELIKE ENVIRONMENT. Leaving the safety and security of the home you know and love because of medical conditions poses several unique challenges. Caring Hearts Adult Foster Care is a community for women ready and able to meet those challenges. We offer the privacy and independence you would expect in your own home while proving a highly trained staff to assist where needed. Transitional counseling is available to our residents and their extended family. We have a chaplain on call to meet the spiritual needs of our residents should they have no clergy of their own. We encourage our residents to furnish their spacious room with their own furniture and decorations to create an environment similar to their home. Although the staff at Caring Hearts provides all meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry service and gardening, our residents are encouraged to make our house their home by participating in household activities, like cooking, baking or gardening. Resident activities are based on the interests and abilities of the residents. You may ask what qualifies Caring Hearts Adult Foster Care to be entrusted with the life of a loved one. And that should be a significant concern for you. Caring Hearts was established because of our need to care for an aging family member no longer able to provide for her own activities of daily living. We explored the options available and decided we would open our home and our hearts so that other families might find the peace of mind we now have caring for our own family member. We know what is important to us and we strive to provide that level of care to those we serve. It is often said that actions spaek louder than words, so come vist Caring Hearts Adult Foster Care and see for yourself who we are and what we offer for you loved one.
