    Westhaven Villa is nestled on the hillside below Grays Harbor Community Hospital, sixty miles west of Olympia, Washington and 20 miles from the Pacific Ocean beaches. Come in for a tour and meet our friendly and professional staff who are devoted to your needs, personal choices and independence. Enjoy the deer grazing on our hillside, while sitting in your own apartment. Expect the atmosphere to be one of comfort and warmth while stimulating your sense of smell with our enticing cuisine.     Eligibility requirements:
    Must be admitted by a physician; Must have a local primary care provider; Must be under the care of a primary care provider licensed in the state of Washington; Must need assistance with one or more activities of daily living; Paying privately must have income/asets that would cover one years worth of care; if low income, must be qualified for Medicaid.

    Staff certifications and training:
    All staff must have a criminal background check completed upon hire and annually thereafter; All caregiving staff must be current with CPR/1st Aide, Blood borne pathogen certification, Fundamentals of caregiving, Specialized Dementia Care training; Specialized mental health training; A minimum of 10 continuous education credits per year. Licensed staff must have the above plus be certified by the State of Washington as holding such a license to practice.

    1 on 1 daily activities tailored specifically for the resident with dementia. The 1:1 is developed from the resident's social summary and interests as provided from the resident and resident's family members.
