    At Avalon Senior Care we commit to provide the highest quality care tailored to each individual resident. We seek to provide a comfortable and homey place for the elderly to reside in. Our family environment is a loving alternative to institutionalized care. Avalon Senior Care has experienced and qualified staff that are helpful and courteous and treat everyone on an individual basis, not as a faceless resident. We work hard to create a community that increases your chance for staying healthier, longer. Everything about Avalon Senior Care promotes a healthy lifestyle, so you will continue to enjoy all the activities and amenities that attracted you in the first place. We are located withing walking distance of Evergreen hospital and medical centers, and 0.4 miles from I-405. There are a number of parks, churchs, shopping centers and senior centers within minutes of our location. We have a 1:3 staff to resident ratio with a registtered nurse on staff/site. We work very close with the doctors and provide physical and other therapies on-site as needed. We specialize in Alzheimer's and dementia care, Diabetes, COPD, Congestive Heart Failure, Hypertention, and much, much more. We provide care ranging from stand-by assistance to full hands-on care. Every morning residents participate in Range of Motion exercise. Twice a week an activity director provides additional activities including arts and craft, ball/board/card games & Bingo.

    All staff must have the state requirements including First Aid/CPR, Fundamentals of Caregiving, and Nurse Delegation. Staff go through a thorough on-site training with the provider. 10 hours Continuing Education is done annually.
