Wellness Approach: We focus on the capabilities a person still has, instead of on what is missing or lost. •We identify, emphasize and build on the remaining abilities •we respectfully praise even small successes in an adult way •we encourage independence instead of taking over for the person •we respect the person’s dignity, privacy and individuality at all times.
