    Deerfield Home Care is dedicated to excellence and innovation in the care of the elderly. The licensee and administrator are experienced licensed professional healthcare providers. We are also licensed by the State of California to give special care to person with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. From creating a homelike and familiar atmosphere, to providing appetizing and nutritious meals, to offering meaningful recreational activities, we will work with you and loved one to make Deerfield a wonderful and satisfying experience. Our location in the desirable south Loma Linda neighborhood makes Deerfield a great place to live. Mature evergreens and shade trees surround the property. Beautiful flowers and plants abound which invite a variety of birds and local wildlife. Our services and amenities include 24-hr staffing and supervision; planned meals, snacks, and special diets; assistance with meals, bathing and bathroom needs, mobility, dressing and grooming; medication management; incontinence care; assistance with physician appointments; close monitoring of resident whereabouts and condition; intervention for behavioral issues; laundry; recreation and enrichment programs; telephone, basic cable TV, daily newspaper and internet.

    Deerfield Home Care is a six-bed private pay residential care facility for the elderly. We are a 24-hr non-medical facility specializing in the care of the elderly, especially those requiring assistance because of the effects of Alzheimer's or other related dementia disorders.     Staff certifications and training:
    Licensee and administrator are both Registered Nurses and have successfully passed the Administrator Certification Program and Exam for Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly administered by the State of California. Certification is renewed every two years for 40 hours of continuing education. Staff receives 12 hours or more per year in training related to elder care and dementia care. Training include, but are not limited to, the aging process, physical limitations, special needs, personal care techniques, resident rights, theft and loss policy, medication polices and procedures, psychosocial care, recognizing signs and symptom of dementia, abuse reporting responsibilities and procedures.
