    The Drake House overlooks the Monterey Bay, two blocks from Cannery Row and Monterey Bay Aquarium. Two blocks from the senior center and local community events. Monterey Bay Adult School conducts onsite classes. We serve the memory care and behavioral health senior population.

    60 years old is minimum age but exceptions are allowed. No income requirement except ability to pay and month-to-month agreement.

    Administrator and Assistant Administrator have Title 22 certification. All care coordinators have Bachelors (4) and all staff are required to have 92 hours of special training the first year and 20 hours annually.

Behavioral changes which compromise the facilities ability to effectively manage his/her care.
    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    We have a 7 day activity program designed to meet various levels of function, interests, and needs including physical, mental, social, and emotional. Examples include adult-level classes facilitated by the Monterey Adults School including art/music therapy, pet therapy, cognitive stimulation and socialization classes. In addition, we provide exercise classes for various levels of functioning, cooking classes and community integration groups.
