    Close to hospitals, shopping centers, churches, good transportation, quiet neighborhood, beautiful backyard/patio, professional staff, very clean environment, trip to beauty salons or staff do the manicure/pedicure, massage if the residents like, homemade meals and desserts, healthy snacks, entertainment such as hula dancer, Elvis impersonator, park or mall outings, eat out treats, dementia/hospice waiver, ambulatory/non-ambulatory, DVD/video individual and group exercises, mental fitness, listening to music, gardening, flower arrangements, baking cookies/cake with residents participation, reminiscing, bingo and other games, books and magazines for them to read, contest for encouragements, treats, etc.; people from the community are invited to come such as non-denomination/Christian pastor from these churches, sharing ideas what to cook and what they like to eat and do, encouragement to be active and participate, to be proactive and not bored and even giving them household chores to do if they can and if they want to do it such as folding their own clothes and putting them in their closets, arranging their own belongings so they would know or remember when they are, etc. Everyone is treated with respect, patience and understanding and the facility administrator are on top of medication management and always aware of the side effects, how they feel and in communication with their own nurses or doctors they go to so that we can find the proper meds for their betterment, good improvement, well being and make sure all meds are given on time per doctors instruction and make sure residents meet their med, dental, eye appointments and if their families want to participate. Families are inform and updated all the time with any changes in their condition, changes in meds and lot of communication with their love ones.
