Marymount Villa is an elegantly appointed five story facility nestled in the heart of historic "old town" San Leandro. Our spacious terrace overlooks the beautiful landmark Casa Peralta home and gardens. We are just 5 minutes from the Oakland International Airport and several freeways and are one block from BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit System). AC Transit buses stop nearby. A convenient outdoor shopping mall is just one short block away as well as houses of worship, medical offices, banks and the post office. A large public library is nearby. We have our own paratransit van and transport residents to their medical appointments and excursions. There is no extra charge for this service. We have an in-house hair and nail salon for men and women. Our goal is to help our residents maintain as much independence as possible. Each resident has their own private apartment, doorbell, mailbox and spacious bath. Apartments are equipped with emergency pull cords, heat/air conditioning, a mini-fridge, space for a microwave, 2 large closets and hook-ups for cable TV and Internet service. We are known for our delicious food - prepared from scratch - by our specially trained chef and her staff. We offer tours seven days a week. Drop-ins are always welcome. We are happy to host you for lunch, with advance arrangement.
