    We have a very caring staff trained for taking care of residents with dementia and memory problems. We are in a safe location with a lovely garden, a good cook, and all rooms have sliding doors to the garden.

    Age 60 and over
    Eligibility requirements:
    We are on a monthly basis starting at $3000 which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, and medication monitoring. We need a physicians report, admission report and pre-appraisal before we can accept a resident. I am a licensed administrator by the government.

    Staff certifications and training:
    Six hours medication training. Direct care staff shall complete at least eight hours of in-service training on the subject of serving residents with dementia, and shall complete the eight hour in-service training within 12 months, and in each succeeding 12-month period, instruction includes mentoring and hands-on training on the subject of serving residents with dementia and the methods of instructions used

    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    Walking, reading, music, outings, hairdresser, banjo player once a month, exercise, singing, music, and communion once a week. Sometimes volunteers like to visit residents.
