    Silvergate Retirement is located near lovely Lake San Marcos, near shopping conveniences, theater, restaurants, medical facilities, and a fitness center to which our residents have a membership to. Silvergate offers residential and assisted living services in 75 spacious Studio, Deluxe and One-Bedroom, Two-Bath apartment homes. Licensed assisted living services are available to support a resident's changing health needs without changing their accommodations or dining room tablemates. Our intimate size is conducive to socialization and making new friends. Our activities programs range from Bridge, Bingo, tai-chi, walking club, to computer and history classes, and outings to museums, theater, winerys, casinos, and an annual luxury cruise for our residents, their families and our staff. Located on Silvergate's campus, is Silvergate Suites specializing in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. For those spouses living in the Residence building or families nearby, they can feel assured that their loved one living in the suites is receiving the highest level of personal attention from the licensed staff, offering them a safe. reassuring, and supportive environment, while experiencing moments of joy through our creative activity programs such as art, cooking, music and sensory classes, pet therapy, golf and much more.     Senior Staff members hold RCFE administrator's licences, Activities Director includes an activities certificate, Chef graduate of Culinary Training, Medication Technicians have state required training, all staff have 8 hours orientation before working, two days shadow training. and monthly inservices training. All Dementia Care Staff require and attain more training per licensing.
