    Whispering Oaks specializes in providing a special place to call "home" for older adults with memory loss. Our philosophy of respect and the greatest in quality care can be seen through the eyes of our residents. We know how difficult it can be to find the right place to care for your loved one.     About My Services

    To ensure a safe and healthful living environment for all residents, Whispering Oaks offer the following basic services. The services actually provided will be those the Resident wants and those the Resident needs, based on the individual’s pre-admission appraisal, and the needs and services plan.

    Basic Services at a minimum include:
    • Rendered care and supervision
    • Observation for changes in physical, mental, emotional, and social functioning
    • Notification to Resident’s family, physician, and other appropriate person/agency of Resident’s needs
    • Lodging: single room or double room
    • Three nutritious meals daily and snacks
    • Helping gain access to supportive services will be provided which includes but no limited to Medical, -Dental, Podiatrist, Physical Therapy
    • Plan, arrange and/or provide for transportation to medical and dental appointments, if necessary
    • Planned activity program including arrangement for utilization of available community resources as follows: Senior Center, Home planned activities, Birthday Parties, Bingo Day, Karaoke & Musical Day, Holiday celebrations, etc.
    • Assistance with personal activities of daily living: -Dressing, Eating, Toileting, Bathing, Grooming, mobility tasks and other personal care needs such as: housework, meals, administering medications, appropriate transportation, correspondence, telephoning, and related tasks.
    • Observation, care, supervision, and nurturing as required.
    • Notification to family, physician, and reliable parties in regards to resident’s needs

    Additional basic services that the Resident need or want, and that will be provided by Whispering Oaks, include:
    • Laundering of personal clothing except dry cleaning and ironing
    • Clean bed and bath linens weekly, or as needed
    • Clean of resident’s room daily
    • Comfortable and suitable bed and bedroom furnitures
    • Assistance in meeting necessary medical and dental needs included but not limited to ordering or medications, coordinating, requests for refills and renewals
    • Assistance with taking prescribed and over-the-counter medications in accordance with Physician’s instructions unless prohibited by law or regulations
    • Bedside care and tray service for minor temporary illnesses or recovery room surgery
