Joella's Manor House is truly a unique retirement and elder care option. The interior of the home is filled with antiques, fine furnishings, and LOTS of chandeliers! Visitors to our home have compared it to a small museum in Paris. During the holiday season, the home is incredibly decorated for folks to tour through. Additional amenities include an indoor heated swimming pool and a player grand piano and a player organ with a huge variety of music from which to choose. Out of doors, residents enjoy the stream, waterfalls, and koi ponds from a myriad of decks. In past years, the grounds have been featured in local garden tours. Gourmet meals are served daily. Each resident has a private room, and there are two shared bathrooms in the home. We are located just two blocks from the fire department, so EMTs are just a few minutes away. Joella's Manor House is gay owned and operated, so you may rest assured that there is definitely a gay friendly atmosphere here. About once a month, a group of reconciling United Methodists meet at our home to enjoy a potluck, a meeting, and sometimes a movie.
