    Tennyson Court Senior Care Community, The Most Unique Living Experience in Western New York Tennyson Court offers the most unique living experience in Western New York! It is a thoughtfully designed residential community featuring six individual resident houses. Each house contains 14 private suites for residents, a comfortable living room with a fireplace and private dining room with restaurant quality meals. Our unique style offers an intimate setting for dining and personal assistance. The houses are grouped around a centrally located community center with adjacent outdoor courtyard, which is the focal point for community activities. All buildings are connected by enclosed walkways for easy access in all weather conditions. Tennyson Court is apart of The Peregrine Health Management Company. Come Celebrate Life the Peregrine Way! We believe our seniors are still vital, active parts of are community and we challenge them to grow spiritually, emotionally and mentally. Our diverse and unique program offers our residents the opportunity to celebrate their lives! We offer a variety of activities including Peregrine University. This unique event defines our philosophy of The Peregrine Way as we challenge our residents to grow. These courses run from September to May on a weekly basis and provide the mental stimulation that our seniors deserve! Our community offers an affordable lifestyle to promote and maintain independence and a positive experience for both you and your loved one. Tennyson Court is a licensed adult home and is reviewed by the New York State Department of Health. It is located in Williamsville across from the Eastern Hills Mall. We provide Assisted Living and Memory Care services.

    Eligibility requirements:
    Our residents need to be able to navigate through the community. Canes, walkers, electric scooters are expectable. They need to be able to transfer independently, feed themselves independently and have the Primary MD in agreement to the move.

    Our staff goes through a 4 week training program which includes assisting with care supervised by the nursing staff, videos, classes and testing. We encourage those with experience to apply

    Our residents need to be able to ambulate through the community. They may use a cane or walker or wheelchair as long as they can self propel and be self directed. Our residents need to be able to transfer independently and they need to be able to physically feed themselves.
    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    Our Memory Care houses provide an environment which enhances the quality of life of residents with Memory concerns. We are divided into two separate houses which are connected by a hallway. Each house contains 14 residents. We have found that this smaller environment allows residents with memory concerns to be more independent, maintain a richer quality of life, provide a safe secure living experience and reduces the behavioral factor that may occur with some of the diseases. Our staff provides all different types of activities which are modified to focus on the positive and not the negative. We promote a positive living experience and help our residents Celebrate Life!
