Saint Nicholas Home is an Adult Home located in the beautiful Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York. Older adults, who are still fairly independent reside here for various reasons: tired of being alone, apartment too big, a little forgetful, rents and expenses too high. Though Non-Sectarian, our chapel is open 24 hours for a resident to practice their spirituality. We provide each resident with their own furniture, free linen and laundry services, free assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming and medication administration. All meals and snacks are served in our lavish Dining room. They are beautifully presented and nutritionally balanced. Case Management services are included, and we have community links with visiting physcians and healthcare agencies if needed. The facilty provides various recreational programs incuding monthly parties with live entertainment, BINGO, and other games, excercises and computers. During the warmer months, residents use our spacious yard to relax, and Chef would prepare Bar-Bar-Ques. Each floor has furnished lounges complete with television and a library. Finally, family and friends are encouraged to visit and participate.
