    Our small size and individualized program is ideal for meeting the special needs of persons with dementia. Our facility is home-like and comfortable, not overwhelming or medical in nature. Staff are specifically trained to provide memory support and personal care.

    Eligibility requirements:
    The Hartwell is a fully dedicated assisted living facility which is designated as a special care unit for persons with Alzheimer's or other dementias.

    Licensed nursing care provided for eight (8) or less hours per day
    No licensed physician care provided
