    Oak Wood Place is designed to be your new home. Our 46 acre living campus is accentuated with a 100 resident "state of the art" assisted living facility. Our campus also includes nature trails, gardening areas, visitor parking, and the peace of mind that comes from living in our tranquil country setting. Oak Wood Place is located within the city limits of Athens, Texas. Our setting provides the best of both worlds; the convenience of living within the city limits and the serenity of daily life in the beautiful countryside. Oak Wood Place is not a nursing home! You have the freedom to set your own agenda, just like living at home. However, we take care of the basics of daily life. We assist you in this capacity on a daily basis.
