Diminished abilities or stage of disease that would result in a transfer or discharge:
Enchanted Pines is licensed as a Large “Type A” Assisted Living Facility. Our licensure standards require residents: a) must be physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted. This may include the mobile non ambulatory persons such as those who are in wheelchairs or electric carts and have the capacity to transfer and evacuate themselves in an emergency; b) do not require routine attendance during nighttime sleeping hours; and c) must be capable of following directions under emergency conditions. If a resident has diminished abilities or a change in condition in which the resident would not be able to meet these standards for a Type A facility, or if the needs of the resident increase to the point where the Enchanted Pines staff is unable to meet the needs of the resident, the resident may be discharged.
Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
Enchanted Pines staff will provide care to the residents based on the individual needs of each resident. Staff is available to help with bathing, dressing, incontinence care, laundry, reminders for meal times and activities, medication reminders, etc. As some residents will require more care than others, an individualized service plan is created based on the needs of each resident.
