    Cedar Ridge offers license nursing 16 hours a day seven days a week, as well as a Director of Nurses. Our staff are specifically trained in our dementia care program Meaningful Moments which focuses on engaging residents in their day based on past routines and preferences. Our dementia care program supports & educates families to understand that each moment can be meaningful. Families may attend educational programs and support groups. As well as activities designed for social interaction.

    Cedar Ridge provides each employee with specialized dementia training upon hire & continue with monthly in-service as well as a six hours course on our dementia care program Meaningful Moments. Meaningful Moments takes a holistic approach to caring for individuals who are struggling with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. This type of training is over and above any state licensing requirements
