    Centrally located in the heart of Niceville with close access to banks, pharmacies, grocery stores, restaurants, and discount stores. Easily accessible by family and friends without having to plan a special trip. Homelike setting with caring and compassionate staff. The facility is the least costly in the County and one of only two facilities that accepts OSS and Assisted Living Waiver residents. The facility is licensed as an Extended Congregate Care Facility and with the support of local Home Health Agencies and Hospice, provides a continuum of care through life's end. Setting provides alzhieimer's and dementia residents, and others with special needs, to interact with the community as a whole. This arrangement provides continued stimulation and helps to lengthen cognition and delays decline. The homelike setting allows more opportunities for residents to visit with each other and to form friendships and healty relationships. A wide range of activities are available to residents at specific stages of cognition and physical abilities. The facility is supported by local community organizations, groups, churches, military bases and invidividuals. Eglin Air Force Base is located within five miles of the facility and has recently opened a VA Clinic. Its proximity enables veterans, spouses and/or dependents access to medical care and pharmacy.
