We are an Assisted Living Facility nestled in a tree-lined area with a covered front porch and secure garden/patio area in the rear of the building. We also have small porch areas out the sides of both the first and second floors. There is a large parking area to accommodate family and friends. A large central meeting area is available on the second floor with big-screen TV, VCR and DVD ability, as well as a table for puzzles, playing cards, etc. The first floor has a quaint meeting area designed for separate familial visits and a piano for resident entertainment. We have a large, tastefully designed dining room for resident meals, as well as a private dining room for private family and guests occasions. A trained kitchen and serving staff is available for all meals. A beautician comes in 2 days/week to meet the needs of the residents for nominal charges. We offer lunch at local restaurants one day a week, as well as shopping at a local mall. Residents are transported via facility vehicles. We have Happy Hour every Friday afternoon for an hour and families are encouraged to attend. Outside doctor appointments are able to be scheduled and facility staff can provide transportation, if desired. Physical therapy is available daily and is staffed by trained personnel. Twice a year we have a family-night and invite all family members to partake in the food and fun. We also observe holidays with the residents, as well as their individual birthdays. We want the resident to feel like this is their home and the staff goes out of its way to provide for their needs however possible.
