“I want to live in my own home, as long as I'm able." This is something I so often heard my parents say as they grew older... this is the desire of all older adults – and it’s the sincere wish of their children for them. Many, however, will eventually have to make difficult decisions about a different kind of living arrangement--one that lovingly provides for their physical, emotional, and social needs as they grow older. Bethesda Adult Care Home provides what most traditional nursing homes can not... the same warm, caring atmosphere of your own home, but with all the benefit of professional health care. Bethesda is a small facility nestled in a quiet neighborhood of beautiful Weston Florida. Our loving and experienced staff provides 24 hr a day care and supervision, allowing your loved ones to age in place in an environment that’s as much like home as we can make it. We have a strong geriatric support team that allows us to provide extensive services to our residents without ever having to leave the comfort of their new home. Our facility Physician (Dr. Jeffrey Sack) is board certified in Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine and has been supporting our facility since our doors opened in 2002. Dr Sack is not only a very knowledgeable Physician, but he has a bedside manner that the residents love and feel at ease with. He works closely with the facility owners and other medical support teams (Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Podiatrist, Ophthalmologist, Dermatologist, various Therapists (Occupational, Physical, Speech and Aqua), and various Lab and Diagnostic Technicians) to ensure all health and wellness needs are met and quality care is provided. (All of which is covered by Medicare!) As you explore lifestyle options, (either for yourself or for a loved one) you will want to consider Bethesda Adult Care Home. We really are the “next best thing to home”.
