    Orion Assisted Living is a unique smaller home offering more personalized care. Resident centered home whose dedication is to the care and comfort of senior adults. Characteristic of a Bed and Breakfast, Orion is nestled on seven acres of wooded property in a residential neighborhood of Hampton Township, North Hills. Orion's extended family atmosphere and special care recognizes and benefits each Resident's unique spirit, promoting independence, self-confidence and companionship. Orion Assisted Living is locally owned and operated by Carin Constantakis, RN. Professionally directed and managed, the Orion team is committed to providing the highest quality of care and attention to the Residents and the community that we serve.

    Staff certifications and training:
    Orion Assisted Living meets the 12 hours of annual staff training including 6 hours of Dementia training required by the DPW. There are monthly fire drills and an annual drill with the local fire department.

    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    Programs geared for all the above mentioned as well as Music Therapy conducted by a certified music therapist, walking the indoor track of La Roche College 2-3 times a week. Out to Lunch/breakfast every other week. Field Trips monthly.
