    Hy-Pana's Real Life Rehab Garden is unique to the area, offering an outdoor setting with various surfaces, inclines and graduated steps to ensure comprehensive and effective rehabilitation. This offers you real life experiences, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, before transitioning home. We have an excellent wound care program and an extensive activities program.

    Staff attends monthly inservices provided by our facility as well as inservices and continuing education classes offered in the community. We have Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses and Certified Nurses Attendents on staff.

    We only accept Alzheimer's/dementia patients who are in the later stages of the disease, so a decline is expected. We are not a locked facility so those in the early to moderate stage and wanderers would not be appropriate for our facility.
    Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
    We offer a daily sensory class that focuses on touch, hearing, smell and sight. This class is specific for those who are unable to communicate or interact with their surroundings.
