    Highlights
    Lakeview House is an established owner-operated long term care skilled nursing rest home facility. The home is located in Haverhill, MA, situated on a lovely site adjacent to the spacious Northern Essex Community College (NECC) campus near scenic Kenoza Lake. Public transportation stops conveniently at our front door. A medical doctor and nurse practitioner are on site once each week. Licensed specialist in physical and occupational therapy the VNA support our medical and nursing staff. Mental health clinicians are on site five days each week. The home also provides in house consultation in podiatry, optometry, speech and language therapy, dietary and nutritional services, and dental care. Our nursing home provides complete care in our 26-bed skilled nursing unit. Our rest home is a 65-bed Community Support Residency for males and females. Responsible rest home staff provides medication management and assist with activities of daily living. Community Support Facilitators are available to provide additional support services for rest home residents with psychiatric illness. Many residents enjoy daily walks on our spacious grounds or to the NECC library, and attend carious day programs and activities. Private rooms are available in both our skilled nursing and rest-home units. Our small size and low staff turnover rate enable us to provide excellent care.

    Our facility provides liaisons with the Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation. Our rest home facility is a community support facility staffed with community support coordinators who assist community support residents with mental illness interface into the community. In conjunction with this program, a local mental health agency, health and education services, meets weekly with professional staff to address mental behavioral issues and medication changes for all residents.
