    Highlights
    We are in a rural area but within close proximity to a major metropolitan area. We offer many amenities at a reasonable cost. We have a large art community as well as many outdoor activities. We have recently opened a community center that features a chiropractic center, outpatient therapy, a deli/catering service, a performing arts center, a wellness center. Our staff specialized in geriatric care and many have additional certifications in this field. We are facilitated with the University Of Illinois School Of Medicine and many medical students intern at our facility. We are also partnering with local community colleges for their nursing students. We also offer community education through several colleges. We have several garden areas with a main garden that features two ponds. There are over 2 miles of paved walking paths on our campus. We have a full time chaplain. We have a local sculpture that lives in our town as well as many other artists in the county. We are within 5 miles of a large river that offers rides on a river boat and renting canoes. We are a specialized Alzheimer's and related Dementia facility. Our staff receives specialized training before working in this area. We strongly encourage families to be involved in their loved ones care. We have a strong volunteer core. We offer skilled and intermediate care as well as independent living.

    As a part of our continuing care retirement community, independent living residents have first priority access to all other levels of care including intermediate and skilled nursing, short term inpatient rehabilitation, and memory care.
