    We have several employees with more than 10 years employment. The facility is small and therefore we can provide more hands-on, direct care than bigger facilities. Our facility is located in a small community. Our facility has a good state inspection history and a good reputation in the community. Our facility has physical, occupational and speech therapy available.

    Staff certifications and training:
    Nursing Assistants are required to become state tested within 4 months of hire or are removed from the schedule. Nursing assistants are given at least 12 hours of inservice training each year which includes fire safety, infection control, resident rights, abuse prevention, accident prevention and similar topics. Nurses are given training on the same topics along with topics specific to a nurse. Training is typically scheduled monthly and topics may be repeated more often than yearly when needed.
