    Hurst Plaza is a member of the Eden Alternative Registry. We have dogs, cats, birds and fish that live in our facility. These pets truly enhance the lives of our residents We have a lovely enclosed courtyard with a covered patio and Kio pond with waterfall. We have a secured wing for resident's at risk to wander. Our secure wing provides a welcoming and nurturing program that promotes peace of mind. We provide both long and short term rehabilitation by our in house team of therapists. We are small, less than 100 beds and have a home like atmosphere. We have two full time activity directors that provide a myraid of activities to meet the various needs of our residents . We offer adult education classes for our residents in conjuction with a community college .We have a wheelchair van to transport residents to Dr's appointments and to various recreational outings. Hurst Plaza has a progressive wound care system in place. We have a wound care specialist that guides the care of our treatment for all wounds in out facility. Nurses have a wide experience with wound care treatment including wound-vacs. We are located in a residential neighborhood but are easily accessible from major thoroughfares .
