    Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is located in Storrs, Connecticut on 11 beautiful acres adjacent to University of Connecicut. We offer a 25 bed short term Sub-acute Unit, orthopedic rehabilitation. Our clinical expertise includes infusion therapy, Neurologic and Orthopedic Rehab and Wound Care. We offer 73 long term skilled nursing beds. Our grounds have beautifuld gardens and gazebo for our residents and families to enjoy. Our central bathing areas offer warm towels for our residents after their bath. The unique feature of Mansfield Center for nursing is our close relationship and link to the community. We are fortunate to have many volunteers that enhance the richness of our residents environment. We are a teaching facility and are linked to the University of Connecicut School of Allied Health, we have many students that use our facility as a clinical site.Our residents enjoy a variety of recreational activities daily, including Bingo,art lessons,shopping trips, and several religious activies geared toward many different religious denominations.
